More Marbles Moved & A Great Night with UCF

I must apologize for not posting an update on my Journey to Health for almost two weeks. It’s been a very busy, but very good couple of weeks. As of this morning, I weighed in at 285.4 pounds! That’s 63.4 pounds down since September 4! It feels so good to wear clothes I haven’t worn in quite a few years, and to look at myself in photos and in the mirror and feel good about how I look for the first time in YEARS! Yes, I’m doing this mostly for my health, but, I’d be lying if I said that I don’t want to look good, too 🙂

Another amazing experience that I had last night was that Sharon and I got to attend the final UCF Choral Concert for Dr. David Brunner, their conductor of 31 years! What an absolute joy it was to see Dr. Brunner, hear the Chamber Singers and University Chorus, and help everyone give Dr. Brunner send off that is fit for one of the finest choral directors and composers ever!

Oh, by the way, Dr. Brunner will be conducting one final concert with a UCF related choral concert. This coming April, 2020, as a part of “UCF Cares For the Arts,” Dr. Brunner will conduct the UCF Alumni Choir. If you have ever sung in the choirs or Madrigal/Chamber Singers at UCF, make sure the UCF School of Performing Arts has your updated information. Details will be available some time in January, 2020 regarding this performance. I hope to see lots of “old” classmates from decades ago! 🙂
