After about 12 days of not losing any weight, which is probably largely due to not getting the right amount of protein daily and choosing foods that aren’t exactly the healthiest, I have finally started to see the needle move again on the scale! This morning at 4:30, I weighed in a 282.8, for a total weight loss of 66 pounds since September 4!
For those of you out there who have had bariatric surgery and are struggling with not seeing your weight not coming off, make sure you are getting the needed 60-80 grams of protein each day. We must always remember to make protein the priority, while making sure to take the required vitamins each day. Eat your protein first, then the rest of your food. If you don’t do this, your weight loss will most likely at least slow or stop, and you will have other problems that follow.
Also, please keep Sharon in prayer this morning, as she goes in for a second surgery to repair the bone in her nose following her fall back in May. This procedure is scheduled to start around 9:00 a.m. today, and should take about 30 minutes. Thank you, in advance, for all your prayers.
That’s it for now. I’m excited to see the scale starting to move again, and will be back with another update soon.
