It is time!

We just got the call a few moments ago that we are to arrive at West Marion Community Hospital in Ocala tomorrow at 8:30 a.m., and the surgery is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.  It is time!

Gastric bypass surgery normally takes 2-3 hours, and, I am supposed to be released from the hospital on Saturday.

Please pray for a successful surgery.  I can’t wait to see the pounds start to come off.

So, that you all know what the next couple of days will be like, here’s the plan.  Tomorrow, after surgery, I will not be permitted to drink anything at all.  On Friday, they will be giving me a few ounces of water or protein shake every couple of hours, and that is it.  And, then, when I go home on Saturday, I’ll start my week of clear liquids.  The craziest part of it is that according to Sharon, I won’t be hungry, and I’ll have to force myself to drink even those little tiny bits of water and protein shake.

That’s all for now.  I’ll update everyone either late tomorrow or sometime on Friday.  Plus, Sharon, will post on Facebook as soon as I am out of surgery.
